Martial Arts
Codified practices to defend yourself from physical threat… that is martial arts to me. Weather you are defending yourself with a weapon or your bare hands, when it’s them or me, I plan on it being me, every time.
Tough words, but of course I’m not nearly as great as my teachers below. Still, it fascinates me and I’m back in the dojo after awhile of being gone, over and over again.
When I’m not on top of my game, simply the philosophy behind martial arts, standing up for yourself and protecting yourself and the ones you love is a big deal to me. So while I’m defintitely not a full time martial artist, the mindset permeates my life.
