Tuesday, October 14th, 2008I’ve started playing Magic again but I moved it online. Since I really don’t have anyone to play with (read: since all my friends are less nerdy than I am) then I have to seek out other nerds online. And anyway, one of the primary reasons I got out of Magic was that the people I was playing with were bringing me down. It was more a life style for them, and for me it’s just a fun game to play when you are bored. It’s like Hearts or Spades or something like that, but way more interesting. Like how I think Solarquest is more fun than Monopoly because there’s more shit going on.. that’s all.
Anyway… Magic Online is a great invention for us older nerds that still want to play, but have managed to grow up, socially speaking, in to drunkards
